Manuscript Checklist

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should ensure that the following essential requirements have been fulfilled. This checklist helps maintain high standards of quality, accuracy, and ethical compliance.

  • Author Details: Full author information must appear on the first page in this order: First Name, Middle Name(s), Last Name. Only contributors who meet International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE) authorship criteria should be listed.
  • Word Count for Titles: Titles must not exceed 25 words.
  • Abstract: Maximum 300 words. For original research, it must be structured as: Background and Purpose; Methods; Results; Conclusion.
  • Keywords: Provide 3–5 keywords.
  • Main Text Structure: The main text must include: Introduction; Materials and Methods; Results; Discussion; Conclusion; Acknowledgements; References.
  • Funding Details: Should be included in the Acknowledgements section.
  • Figures: Must be high quality: 1200 dpi (line art), 600 dpi (grayscale), 300 dpi (colour). Accepted formats: EPS, PS, JPEG, GIF, DOC, DOCX.
  • Tables: Tables must include headings and footnotes sufficient for understanding without referencing the main text.
  • Equations: Must be prepared using appropriate equation-editing software.
