Pharmacology and Toxicology of Natural Medicines is an open access peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the expansion of knowledge in natural medicine. Its target audience includes policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in the field of natural medicine, as well as those looking to develop novel drug candidates and therapies from natural sources. It covers all elements of the pharmacology and toxicity of extracts, fractions of extracts, isolated substances or their synthetic counterparts, and natural-source designed products. Manuscripts are published as original articles, reviews, brief messages, and letters to the editor following a quick yet thorough peer review procedure.
All submitted manuscripts are initially verified for conformance with the journal's scope, style, and format, as well as a plagiarism score of less than 15%. Submissions that are significantly weak in these areas may be returned to the authors for compliance or forwarded on for a blind peer review. Accepted submissions are freely available online upon publication.
